SABERLOGIC RELEASES VE MOBILE VERSION 1.0.3517

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3517. This version offers the following changes:

  • VE Mobile Client: Resolved a qty column width problem on the issue material and location inquiry screens.
  • Schema changes 1004, 1005.
  • VE Mobile Client: Issue material screen logic to conditionally allow for adding new requirements via a server-side setting.
  • Admin Console: Added "delete" and "resubmit" options to transaction viewer.
  • Transaction Processor: Automatically set the status to "R" on requirements when a return issue has occurred.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added PO receipt default "receive to" location specified globally or per device.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added hot key support to move from location inquiry into location transfer for quick put-aways.
  • VE Mobile Client: Reworked return issue logic when it attempts to locate a material record.

SABERLOGIC RELEASES VE MOBILE VERSION 1.0.3516

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3516. This update offers the following changes:

  • Web Services: Added web methods for physical inventory.
  • Transaction Processor: Bug fix in function to insert IBT shipper. The function to get the current date was Oracle specific and was failing on SQL Server.
  • Web Services: Added method to locate a physical count by part, warehouse, location.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added logic to correct a quantity on any screen that shows a quantity on hand for a part by pressing F1, which launches the physical count screen and looks up the count ID by the part, warehouse, and location selected.
  • Documentation: Updated to note the new F1 hot key.
  • Web Services: Added web methods for Location Transfer Notes, Reason Codes, And Logout Timer
  • VE Mobile Client: Added Location transfer notes
  • VE Mobile Client: Added Location Transfer Reason
  • VE Mobile Client: Added an optional Log Out Timer
  • Transaction Processor: Added logic to handle the transfer notes, also populates the Location Transfer table with the InventoryTrans IDs for those records, also controls transfer Reason

SABERLOGIC RELEASES VE MOBILE VERSION 1.0.3515

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3515. This version offers the following changes:

  • Overall: Updated Oracle.DataAccess to version 2.112.3.0.
  • Transaction Processor: Changed transaction processing order to process the oldest transactions first.
  • Transaction Processor: Added data validations to issue material and new material creation.
  • Transaction Processor: Added more delay in transaction processing.
  • Transaction Processor: Changed logic to not process material issue transactions if any new material requests are in the queue.
  • Transaction Processor: Revised logic for issue material so to update the queue records with a different piece number if the predicted new piece number was incorrect.
  • Transaction Processor: Switched to process queued transactions oldest to newest.
  • Admin Console: Fixed a bug in the transaction viewer where no selected statuses return all results.
  • Admin Console: Suppressed error messages from schema change routine to avoid the administrator from seeing what appear to be error messages but are just tables/columns that are already present.
  • VE Mobile Client: Updated client to work with MC9190 / Windows Compact Edition 6.5. Objects have been sized and repositioned.
  • VE Mobile Client: Updated thread timeout for users that have data that might take longer than 10 seconds to retrieve.
  • VE Mobile Client: Enabled Full ASCII on the client so barcodes can now have more characters (for example spaces).
  • VE Mobile Client: IBT Entry bug fix for save and ship button. Previously this button only did a save.
  • VE Mobile Client: Changed schema of barcode for warehouse/location to be more consistent with the rest of the system. It now expects a %WL prefix.
  • VE Mobile Client: Fixed an issue with the trace screen on PO receipts where it was not accepting the data of the last column input.
  • Web Services: Added VEMOBILE_COM_SHIPPING to the database create scripts.

SABERLOGIC RELEASES VE MOBILE VERSION 1.0.3514

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3514. This version offers the following changes:

  • VE Mobile Client: Revised all screens to improve the support for devices other than the Motorola / Symbol MC9090.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added support for Windows Mobile (used only to support Windows CE).
  • VE Mobile Client: Added known device compatibility for Motorola MC3190.

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3513. This version offers the following changes:

  • Installer: Modified behavior to prompt when overwriting Admin Console config file.
  • Web Services: Modified database schema to allow for alpha pin numbers.
  • Web Services: Added VEMOBILE_SETTING.CONTEXT as part of the default database schema created.
  • Web Services: Added shipping module support.
  • Web Services: Removed the default assumption that the database type is SQL Server for the config file.
  • Admin Console: Simplified initial setup screen.
  • Admin Console: Resolved an issue where you could not delete users.
  • Admin Console: Updated transactions grid to sort by transaction date descending by default.
  • Transaction Processor: Added support for shipping module.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added shipping module.
  • VE Mobile Client: Fixed sorting issue with "part inquiry".

SaberLogic is pleased to release VE Mobile version 1.0.3512. This version offers the following changes:

  • Admin Console: Resolved an issue where the settings window close button closed the entire application.
  • Admin Console: Added a Help / About screen.
  • Admin Console: Added Transaction Viewer tab.
  • Admin Console: Added Settings tab for global application settings.
  • Admin Console: Added settings scope to data definition and modified Admin Console to show only device level settings on the Device tab.
  • Admin Console: Resolved error message when saving user data.
  • Admin Console: Updated VNC download link.
  • Admin Console: Added Menu Designer tab.
  • Admin Console: Updated column headings.
  • Admin Console: Fixed link on "Launch IIS" button.
  • VE Mobile Client: Resolved issue where ESC key and the on-screen button did not do the same thing on drill-down menus.
  • VE Mobile Client: Added missing OpenNETCF.Net.dll to distribution.
  • Web Services: Updated "insert sample data" logic to include new setting contexts. Updated field settings on VEMOBILE_DEVICE_SETTING.SETTING_VALUE to permit NULL.
  • Schema change 1001.
